POST A PHOTO of your left hand wearing something blue, on all your social media profiles, in support of this initiative.
The first Global Fair Divorce Day, took place on Sunday 25 June 2017. See some examples below.
Participation is World-wide and FREE!
If you have any experience of divorce, whether as a child of divorcing parents, divorcing your spouse, as family or a friend of a couple going through divorce, a colleague of someone in divorce, a new partner of a divorcee or you witnessed the traumatic effects of the unfair manner in which divorce is conducted, you should join this cause. Even if you are happily married and want to support those who have suffered through divorce, you are welcome to join.
In celebrating Global Fair Divorce Day, we commit ourselves to a blue chip reputation for quality and reliability in good times and in bad. We wear blue on our left arm, hand and particularly the left ring finger, to show our undeniable commitment to distinguishing ourselves from the majority of people who fight and destroy lives through divorce, by honouring each other, having compassion and being as fair as possible.
Even though divorce gives you the blues, being Fair during the process is a noble way to put out the conflicting fire and purifying it as if with fresh cold water. We still believe in blue as a symbol of loyalty and faithfulness, despite the trauma of divorce and when we get through this life-changing event, the blue sky is the limit for love and fulfilment.
On 25 June, we all wear something blue on our left hand or decorate our left hand in any blue manner and post a photo on our Facebook / Instagram / any other social media page to show our support. Be creative and have fun! Help us make the whole world aware that divorce can and should be fair!
