Parental Alienation

Here are the first three podcasts in my series on Parental Alienation.

It’s a term that stirs deep emotions, fierce debate and heartbreaking stories.

But what is it really? And why is it that in the storm of a high-conflict divorce, children – and sometimes entire branches of a family tree – are left isolated, confused and emotionally severed from the people who once meant the most to them?

This is a challenging but essential conversation about parental alienation – one that isn’t just about parents. It’s about children. It’s about grandparents. It’s about siblings, extended family and even lifelong friends. It’s about relationships – and how they fracture under pressure. I’m making a series of video podcasts where I share insights gained from my own lived experience, working with many clients in alienated families and doing extensive research on what I am starting to regard as the worst disease of our time.

Why Parental Alienation Started Long Before Your Separation. In this video, I explain how the intricate dynamics of family relationships play out to pave the way to alienation, long before separation event occurs.
